Dr. Ann Dulay and Dr. Maricel Paringit attended the 3rd UPRI-NOAH TALK on Resiliency. The talk bearing the theme “Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction in the Philippines” was held at the Multipurpose Room (Rm 301) of the National Institute of Geological Sciences, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Members of the Disaster Resilience Unit of the Center for Engineering & Sustainable Development Research (CESDR) of the DLSU attended a forum on the commemoration of the 10th year of Typhoon Ondoy last Sept 26. 2019 at the Museaum of a History of Ideas, UP Manila. GCOE Dean Dr. Jonathan Dungca, ChE Professor, Dr. Mike Prometilla, CE Professor, Dr. Bernardo Lejano, ECE Associate Professor, Dr. Ann Dulay and CE Professor and CESDR DR unit leader, Prof. Andres Oreta including College of Business Economics Dean, Prof. Marites Tiongco represented DLSU in the forum. Aside from commemorating Typhoon Ondoy, the event also introduced the plan to organize a Philippine Academic Society for Climate and Disaster Resilience.
